Sensory play is an engaging, highly stimulating play experience that often incorporates the five senses while building motor skills, creativity, mindfulness, and brain development. While engaging in sensory play they become more independent and build neurons in their brain which leads to problem-solving. In addition, by engaging many of the five senses they begin to make connections with the world around them and regulate their bodies and emotions.

Leika sensory kits are designed to include everything you would need to begin your sensory experience at home. The base (playdough, rice, beans, pebbles, etc.) and the theme items to excite the sensory experience are all included. Each photo will show you all items included in the kit.

A sensory table is the vehicle to deliver sensory play in a beautiful and practical way. It invites children to be creative and imaginative. It also helps contain sensory play, which can get messy as children explore different materials.
